Infant Saint Malachi Dixon

Saint Malachi Dixon, infant son of Sa’mone Dixon, joined the Angels in Heaven on Monday, April 17, 2023.

A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam, and for a brief moment it’s glory and beauty belong to our world. But then it flies again and though we wish it could have stayed, we feel so lucky to have seen it.

Saint is preceded in death by his grandfather, Willie Douglas.

Survivors include his mother, Sa’mone Dixon; his sister, Samiyah Dixon; his grandmother, Mellissa Jackson; his grandfather, Horace R. Jackson, III; his uncles, Steven (Kiera) Dixon, Shawn Williams, Dominique (Skylar) LaRue, Keith Thomas and Eric Jones; and a host of family and friends.
