Mr. Jack Warren Hall, Sr of Bonifay, FL passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024. He was
101.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 17, 2024 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with the Rev. Mike Browning officiating. Burial will follow in Poplar Head Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Mr. Jack was born in Lansing, MI on November 18, 1922 to the late Merritt Noble and Elsie Elizabeth Thompson Hall. He, along with his wife, owned and operated “Ma & Pa’s Woodshed” for several years, prior to his retirement. In his younger years, he worked as a commercial fisherman and enjoyed being on the water. Jack was also a talented auto mechanic who could fix almost anything. He was a faithful member of Bethany Baptist Church as long as his health permitted.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 71 years, Phyllis J. Hall, three sons, Terry, Bob and Jack, Jr.; two grandsons, Bobby and Tommy Hall, one granddaughter, Karyn Lee Ewing and several siblings.
Mr. Jack is survived by two loving and devoted daughters, Sherry Redden (Terry) of Clarksville, GA and Karen Ewing (Gordon) of Bonifay, FL; nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
