Jackie Harrison, 62, of Dothan, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Greystone United Methodist Church with Rev. John Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in Dothan City Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30-2:30 pm prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Alacare Hospice, 3379 W. Main St., Dothan, AL 36305.

Mrs. Harrison was born January 19, 1949 in Houston County and resided in Dothan most of her life. She graduated from Dothan High School in 1967. She was a homemaker and loved to tend to her grandchildren and her parents. Mrs. Harrison was a member of Greystone United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her father Durwood Joiner.

Survivors include her mother, Margaret Joiner of Dothan; two daughters, Jennifer (Harold) White of Daphne, AL, and Amanda Wells of Panama City, FL; her grandchildren, Austin Enfinger, Garrett Enfinger, Andrew White, Ava Wells, Graci Wells, and Kallie Wells; a brother, David Joiner of Lynn Haven, FL; her sisters, Jane (Dennis) Huff of Dothan, and Emily (Buddy) Morris of Pulaskie, TN; several nieces and nephews also survive.
