A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, August 5, 2024 at 11am in the Sunset Memorial Park Chapel with Pastor Joe Brown officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
We gather today to honor the life of James Bernard McNealy, Born Februrary 13, 1945 to the late Samson and Lillian Jackson McNealy, a loving husband to Martha McNealy, devoted father to Keesha (Jeremiah) Awosanya and Miguel Samson McNealy, 4 grandchildren Justin, Kayla, Alexis and Maya McNealy. James B. McNealy's beloved siblings Mamie (David) Mathis, Randy (Theresa) McNealy, Pace (Rosa) McNealy, Wanda McNealy, several brother and sister in laws, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. James B. McNealy served as Airman First Class 77150 Air Policeman in the U.S. Air Force 1964 - 1969. James B. McNealy worked diligently as a painter in Dothan, Alabama, where his hard work and dedication were evident to all who knew him.
James B. McNealy was a pillar of strength and wisdom, always putting his family first. His laughter, kindness, and unwavering support will forever be remembered. He taught us the importance of honesty, perseverance, and love. Whether through his work or in his personal life, he left an indelible mark on everyone he met.
We are grateful for the moments we shared and the love he gave. Though he passed on August 1st, 2024, his spirit and legacy will live on in our hearts. His memory will continue to inspire us every day. Rest in peace, James Bernard McNealy.
