JAMES  EDWARD  PARAMORE,  SR.



GRIMES. . .James Edward “Bo” Paramore, Sr., a resident of Dothan, formerly of Grimes, died Friday night, September 23, 2016, in Wesley Manor.  He was 81.



            Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, September 25, 2016, in Gardens of Memory, between Headland & Dothan, with Benjamin Comer Paramore, Jr. officiating. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 P.M. Sunday at the mortuary.



            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Walk To End Alzheimer’s, P.O. Box 3017, Bluffton, SC  29910.



            Mr. Paramore lived most of his lifetime in Grimes in Dale County, son of the late Edd Comer Paramore and Martha Smith Paramore. He was a member of the Grimes United Methodist Church and was a retired farmer.



            Surviving relatives include his wife, Sarah Ellison Paramore, Grimes; two daughters, Kathy Straughn (Sam), Bluffton, SC; and Kay Paramore, Midland City; two sons, James E. “Bo” Paramore, Jr. (Lisa), Dothan; and Eddie Paramore, Goshen, AL; two step-children; a sister, Mary Hartzog, Dothan; a brother, Benjamin Comer Paramore (Susan), Pensacola, Fl; eleven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; a special step-grandson, Andrew Larsen.
