James F. Driggers, 87, of Dothan passed away Thursday August 9, 2012 at Wesley Manor.


Mr. Driggers was born April 8, 1925 in Demopolis, Alabama and moved to Dothan at an early age. He was a veteran of WWII and served in the Army. He was employed with Dothan Neon Sign Company for several years.


Mr. Driggers was preceded in death by his wife Jean B. Driggers; his parents Margaret H. Snell and Homer Driggers; a brother Donald Driggers; his sisters Ganey Hollis and Nettie Clark; and the mother of his children Imogene S. Driggers.


Survivors include his children, son Ned Driggers and daughter Melinda (Craig) Watkins; grandchildren, Haley and Hannah Watkins, Michael Driggers; brother Ed (Lucia) Driggers; sister Joann Frazier and step-sister Geraldine McLean.
