James (Jimmy) F. Fitch, III passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the home of his parents in Ashford, Alabama. He was 62 years old.

Jimmy was a graduate of Ashford Academy and The University of Alabama. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Clyde Oates Adams, Jr., Ruby Lee Stott Adams of Ashford, AL and James F. Fitch, Sr., of Gordon, AL.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the Ashford City Cemetery with Rev. Kyle Gatlin officiating and Robert Byrd directing. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Autism Speaks, 1 East 33rd Street, 4th Floor, New York, NY 10016.

Jimmy is survived by his parents, James F. Fitch, Jr. and Emily Adams Fitch of Ashford, AL; grandmother, Eddie Lou Fitch of Gordon, AL; two sisters, Pam Fitch of Auburn, AL and Jill Fitch of Pike Road, AL; three nephews, Elliot Fitch, Brandon Fitch and Adam Fitch of Pike Road, AL.
