EUFAULA. . .James Frank (Jim) Jenks, a resident of Eufaula, died Friday afternoon, April 15, 2016, in the emergency room of the Medical Center Barbour in Eufaula. He was 64.


            Memorial services will be held at a later date. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.


            Jim Jenks was born and reared in Talladega, Alabama, son of the late Z. D. Jenks and Peggy Butterworth Jenks. He was a 1970 graduate of Talladega High School and also received a B.S. Degree in Psychology and a minor in Chemistry from Jacksonville State University.  He also attended the University of Alabama. Jim retired, due to disability, as Manager of Steak Out and Domino’s Pizza, both in Tuscaloosa. He lived near Eufaula since 2000. Jim was preceded in death by a brother, Leonard Holmes.


            Surviving relatives include his wife, Vicki Smith Jenks, Eufaula; a step-daughter, Brandi Hudson (Michael), Abbeville; a sister, Ann Pair (Lonnie), Abbeville; a brother, Louis Jenks, Northport, AL; three step-grandchildren.
