JAMES MARION STILLER
SHORTERVILLE, ALABAMA. . .James Marion Stiller, a resident of Shorterville, Alabama, died Friday afternoon, February 28, 2014, in a Dothan hospital. He was 69.
Memorial services will be held at 12:30 P.M. Friday, March 7, 2014 in the Haleburg United Methodist Church with Reverend Tony Rosetta officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:30 until 12:30 P.M. in the church sanctuary. Interment will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 8, 2014 in the Pyron Chapel Cemetery in Baker, Florida. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary is in charge of services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family, 5029 County Road 71, Shorterville, AL 36373.
Mr. Stiller was born in Baker, Florida and was reared in Okaloosa County, son of the late Thomas Allen Stiller and Mable Kelley Stiller. He moved to Henry County, Alabama, between Haleburg and Shorterville in 2003. Mr. Stiller was a member of the Haleburg United Methodist Church. He was retired as a diesel mechanic. Mr. Stiller was preceded in death by a son, James Allen (Jerry) Stiller.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Nadine Jackson Stiller, Shorterville; a daughter, Denice Stiller Opp (William), Las Vegas, Nevada; two grandchildren, Morgan Molina (Mario), and Paige Opp; a great-grandchild, Layla Molina; five sisters, Virginia Dombroski (John), Crestview, FL; Marie Carroll (Bill), Ft. Walton Beach, FL; Annie Stiller, Lucille Wicker, and Cora Wise, all of Crestview, FL.; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Glenda and Donnie, Patsy and Dennis, Len and Mary Beth, and Jim; numerous nieces and nephews, and friends.
