James Olin Shivers,73, passed away at Noland Hospital on Friday, August 24, 2018.He was born on February 4, 1945 to Inman Shivers and Justine Gay shivers(Callaway). He graduated from Clay County High School and attended technical school in Jacksonville, FL. Olin retired from Cooking Good in Dothan. He was a drummer and played in Tristate area for over 57 years.
Memorial Service: 11AM at Selma Baptist Church on Saturday, September 1, 2018 with a visitation one hour before service. Burial will be at a later date at Mt.Gilead Church Cemetery in Fort Gaines, GA.
Olin was a born again Christian and a member of Selma Baptist church in Dothan. He was privileged to play with the Church Band. He loved the Lord and took every opportunity to witness. He was always telling what an Amazing forgiving God he served.
Survivors: son; Kevin Toliver, daughters; Tina Pouncey and Olina (Clay) Wiggins. grandchildren; Chase, Elizabeth, Landrie and Haiasten, great-granddaughter: Quinn, brothers: Roger (Suzanne) Shivers, Justin (Charlottee) Shivers, and a sister: Kathy (John Ray) Bailey, and thirteen nieces and nephews.
