Mr. James Ronald “Ronnie” Spann of Hartford, Alabama passed away Thursday, September 19, 2013, at his home after a prolonged illness.  He was 54.

Fellowship with family and friends will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 22, at the home of his sister, Annette Monk, 38 Mohawk Street, Daleville.

Ronnie was born February 5, 1959, in Opp, Alabama to the late James E. and Martha Moon Spann of Daleville.  He was a lifelong resident of the area.

In addition to his parents his sister, Jenise Spann Wellman, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Margaret Wood Spann; son, Jamie Spann; daughter, Kala Thomley; step daughter, Kitty McDonald Thomley; step son, Kevin McDonald; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Annette (Jimmy) Monk and Janet (Sonny) Danley; brother, Donnie Spann; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Alacare of Dothan for their caring compassion that was given to their loved one.
