James Tarplin Beasley
James Tarplin Beasley of Ozark, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015 at his home. He was 86.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 13, 2015 at Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Steve King officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Jamey Smith performing Masonic Rites and Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time on Monday at the funeral home.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
Mr. Beasley was born December 3, 1928 to Francis Seymour and Lillie Beasley and lived all of his life in Dale County. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Korean Conflict. He owned and operated a HVAC business for several years and was also employed at Oakview Manor for many years. Mr. Beasley was a member of the Claybank Masonic Lodge #908 and Ozark Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ouida H. Beasley and a sister, Mary Ocie Brown.
Survivors include his son, James H. Beasley (Deborah); granddaughter, Tonya Pruitt; and one great-granddaughter, Sara Elizabeth Stansell, all of Ozark.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ernesto Berelez, Gene Nelson, Chuck Roberts, Larry Walker, Henry Ward and David Wyatt.
