Jane Johnson Moore a resident of Dothan, Alabama passed away Monday, October 21, 2019. She was 86.

Jane was born in Houston County, Alabama February 9, 1933. She later graduated from Dothan High School, class of 1951. She then married her husband, Chaplain Bobby Moore. She then went on to receive her bachelor’s degree in education from Samford University and began her career as a High School math teacher. Afterwards, they traveled across Europe with the United States Military. Through the years Jane taught several Sunday Schools and adult Bible study groups where she shared the word of God with many. Jane was a sweet, giving and selfless person who through the Lord touched many lives.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Josie Johnson and her husband Bobby Moore.
She is survived by her daughter; Melinda (Michael) Kingery, her son; Greg (Denise) Moore, five grandchildren; Alisha (Michael) Merritt, Lauren (Aaron) Pitts, Lindsey (Sean)Dial, Christian (Jenica) Moore, and seven great-grandchildren.
A special thank you from the family to Dr. Paola Bass for her loving care for many years, as well as Westside Terrace and their compassionate staff and caregivers for all the love and care through the years.
