Jane Crawford Moulthrop, a resident of Dothan, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2019. She was 76.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bo Grice and Rev. John D. Reece officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to the Wiregrass Human Society, 55 Jerry Dr, Dothan, AL 36303.

Mrs. Moulthrop was born June 25, 1942 in Dothan, Alabama to the late Dr. Robert Dixon and Tommie Crawford. She was a life-long musician and began playing piano at three years of age. Jane attended Dothan High School, Class of 1960, where she was a majorette and Homecoming Queen. Several years later, she started working at her husband’s practice, Charles W Moulthrop DMD, as the Office Manager. Jane was a long-time member of New Covenant Christian Fellowship Church where she was the Director of Music.

She was predeceased by her siblings, Emily Black, Catherine Crawford and Bob Crawford.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Charles Moulthrop; two children, Frank Boyd (Kathleen Montgomery) and Karen Boyd (Ben Finegold); Two stepchildren, Charles Robert Moulthrop (Apiwan) and Catherine Moulthrop; seven grandchildren, Alston Boyd, Bronwen Boyd, Holden Watson, Archer Watson, Rena Moulthrop, Julia Moulthrop, and Robert Moulthrop; one sister, Tommie Griffin (Rusty); and special friend and caregiver, Deanna Proper.
