Jane Stevenson Gunn, a resident of Wicksburg, Alabama passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at a local hospital. She was 95.

Services will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 3 pm in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Sunset Funeral Home directing.

Jane was born on August 15, 1923 in Kansas City, Mo to James and Rosa Stevenson. She was a loving military wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Jane was a very strong woman and everyone who knew her loved her. Her special name for herself was “Ring Leader.”

Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Neal Gunn and her brother, James W. Stevenson, Jr.

Survivors include her children, Janeal McEntee and Tommy (Peggy) Gunn; her grandchildren, Shannon, Patrick, Jennifer and Stephanie; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
