Jane Walls Schultz of Enterprise, Alabama passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022.  She was 80.


Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise with Reverend Jim Duhaime officiating.  A private burial will follow at Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continue until time of service.  The family prefers masks to be worn during the service and visitation. 


Jane was born in Enterprise on May 7, 1941, along with twin brother Joe Allen Walls.  She was a 1959 graduate of Enterprise High School. She married Jackson Schultz in March 1968 and became a military wife, in which she greatly enjoyed. After his retirement from active duty, they settled down back home in Enterprise. She later retired after a long career with civil service. She was an avid golfer and she spent many years playing with the Ladies league at Enterprise Country Club. Jack and Jane spent many weekends playing golf together. One of the highlights of her golfing years was a hole-in-one she achieved in 1984. In addition to golf, she enjoyed beautiful gardens, the beach, and spending quality time with her family.


She is preceded in death by her husband Jackson Kermit Schultz, parents William Fred and Lucile Sykes Walls, Her twin brother Joe Allen Walls, sister Mary Walls Keumper, and sister-in-law Billie Jean Walls.

Her survivors include daughters, Rhonda Hanna Wilson (Richard) of Marietta GA and Melissa Schultz Miller (Joe); grandson, Matheus Miller of Seattle WA; step-son, Chris Schultz (Jami) of Pikeville TN, step-daughters, Frances Schultz (Tom) of Los Olivos, CA, Duvall Schultz Fuqua (Rex) of Atlanta GA; brother, William Max Walls; sister-in-law, Betty Walls Owen (John) of Enterprise; and numerous nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly; as well as her faithful dog, Wesley, who was her constant companion.
