Janet Louise Ward, a resident of Dothan, Alabama passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Wesley Place on Honeysuckle. She was 93.

Graveside services will be on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 2:30 pm at Gardens of Memory with Rev. Hunter Pugh officiating and Robert Byrd of Sunset Memorial Park directing.

Mrs. Ward was born on January 1, 1924 in Ohio and spent her early years in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. She resided in Chapel Hill, North Carolina before moving to Dothan in 1955. Mrs. Ward was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dothan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Hiram Ward.

Survivors include a son, Edward “Howard” (Aileen) Ward; a daughter, Barbara Anne Ward; and a brother, Elmer (Carol) Covert.
