Janice Christine Tew

 

Janice Christine Tew, a resident of Dothan, passed away Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. She was 66.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012 at New Teamon Baptist Church Cemetery in Geneva County with Rev. Larry Roberts officiating and Byrd Funeral Home directing.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.

Miss Tew was born Dec. 11, 1946 in Anniston, Alabama. She had a BS degree in Biochemistry from Auburn University and was employed with the US Government for many years. She has been a resident of Dothan for the past 20 years.

She is predeceased by her father, Grady Lee Tew and her mother, Margaret Greer Tew.

She is survived by a sister, Sara Tew Bruton; two brothers, Edwin Tew and Wayne Tew; several nieces and nephews.
