Janis Sue Buxton, age 78, was born September 7, 1944, of Enterprise, AL passed away Friday, October 14, 2022 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM, Monday, October 17, 2022 at Searcy Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel with Rev. Billy Smith officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00PM until service time. 

Mrs. Buxton was preceded in death by her parents, Clead and Maudrie Roberts; husband, Robert Earl Buxton; brothers, Kermit Roberts, and Durwood Roberts; sisters, Annis Harrison, Mary Craft and Jeanette Johns.. 

Survivors include her three children; Austin Buxton (Beth), Homassa, FL, Denise Buxton (Gordon Bruce) and William Buxton (Kimberly), Enterprise, AL; seven grandchildren; Dallas Buxton, El Paso, TX, Dalton Buxton, Tampa, FL, Christine Schumann, Orlando, FL, Danielle Buxton, Tallahassee, FL, Blaine Maund, Enterprise, AL, Ashlynn Buxton, Enterprise, AL and Ashton Buxton, Enterprise, AL; 2 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Shurie Preschott and Lisa Mahan of Covenant Care Hospice for their care and a very special thank you to her sitter, Katie Ware.
