OZARK… Jasmine Denise Gissendanner, a resident of Ozark, entered into the loving arms of Jesus on Sunday evening, February 13, 2022, in a Dothan hospital. She was 29.
Homegoing services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 19, 2022, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joseph Ellington, III and Pastor Fred Flowers officiating. Burial will follow in Johntown Community Cemetery, Johntown Community, near Ozark.
Jasmine was born July 14, 1992, in Ozark, Alabama and was a 2010 Graduate of Carroll High School. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Elinda Gail Jones Gissendanner, Bessie Jones, Larry March, Sr., and step-grandfather, Dillard Beaty; aunt, Patricia Gissendanner; uncle, Larry March, Jr.
Surviving relatives include her daughter, Abigail JaChelle Clark, Ozark; parents, Edward and Michelle March Gissendanner, Ozark; grandparents, Lillie Mae Johnson Beaty, Tuscaloosa and Eddie Lee Gissendanner, Ozark; aunts and uncles, Sofia Williams (Johnny), Tuscaloosa, Kimberly Walton (Antonio), Charlene Gissendanner, Dorothy Gissendanner, Tracy Gissendanner, Elizabeth Colby (Donnie), Nona Gissendanner, and Ronnie Gissendanner; best friends, Destiny Raymond, Ariana McRae, Traivana Griffin, Jessica Laseter, and Michael Garner; numerous cousins also survive.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Christopher Terry, Anthony March, Ronnie Gissendanner, Joshua Gissendanner, Johnny Williams, Marcus Austell, Antonio Walton, and Walton Gissendanner.
