Jax Tyler Phillips, born August 10, 2014 passed away at Children's Hospital in Birmingham on Sunday, August 24, 2014 due to complications at birth.

Services will be 5pm Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Jennifer Phillips, 2106 Aberdeen Rd., Dothan, AL, 36301 to assist the family with expenses associated with the care of Jax and Gemma. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother Jennifer Phillips; grandmother Debbie Barnes; an aunt Michelle and Jay Burns; uncles, Dennis and Cassie Barnes and Eric Barnes; brother, Andrew Barrentine; sisters, Breanna Phuillips and Gemma Phillips (his twin sister who is at Baptist South in Montgomery).

Serving as pallbearers will be Dennis Barnes, James Burns, Wayne Jordan and Matt Lynch.
