Jayson Aden Williams (34) from Ashford, AL, passed away peacefully on June 14, at his parents (DJ and Debbie Williams) home with them, his sister (Nycole Murdock), and his mawmaw (Faye Meadows), lovingly by his side. He fought a long, hard 2-year battle with stage 4 metastatic melanoma.

Private graveside services will be held at Memory Hill Cemetery with Glover Funeral Home directing. In lieu of flowers, donations are greatly appreciated to help cover final expenses.

Jayson was a wonderful, God-honoring man with a very caring and generous heart. He was always available and willing to help others in any way he could. He never met a stranger. He was known for his sense of humor, contagious laugh, and smile. Jayson’s greatest joy was spending time with his family, devoted friends, and especially his 8 children, whom he loved with all of his heart.

He also enjoyed frequenting coffee shops and greatly enjoyed chem-ex pour-overs the most, from his favorite coffee shop, Mural City Coffee in Dothan where everyone there treated him like family.

Jayson is preceded in death by his pawpaw, Gilbert Aden Meadows of Dothan, and a cousin, Gilbert Gregory Meadows, Jr. of Dothan.

Jayson’s memory will live on in his 8 beautiful children, Judah Williams (10), Emmanuel Williams (10), twins, Zechariah Williams (9), Ezekiel Williams (8), Hosanna Williams (6), Samuel Williams (4), Elesha Williams (3), Timothy Williams (1), all of Ashford, AL; his parents, DJ and Debbie Williams; sister, Nycole Murdock; brother-in-law, Marcus Murdock; 2 nephews, Elijah Murdock (3) and Micah Murdock(1); grandparents, Faye Meadows of Dothan, Dennis and Pat Williams of Cottonwood; many loving uncles, aunts, cousins, and many close friends.
