Jean Rae Ellett Cole was born in Craddock, Va. On Sep. 19th, 1929. She graduated Craddock High

School in 1947. She took a job with the phone company and also worked as a USO Dancer where she

met her Husband William Frederick Cole, whom she married in 1950.

She did odd jobs from time to time but mostly was a stay at home mom where she raised 4 children

and endured several military relocations. She and Bill worked as missionaries with Roving Volunteers

in Christ's Service (RVICS) for 15 years before finally retiring to Ft, Meade Florida.

She moved to Alabama in 2016 where she remained until her passing on Nov 25th 2021.

She was preceded in Death by her Father John David Ellett. Her Mother Flora Mary Miller, Her

brothers Eugene and William Ellett, Her Husband William Frederick Cole, and her Son John David

Cole.

She is survived by her Sister Florence Mae Ellett Fivecoat of Atlanta, Ga., Her son William

Frederick Cole Jr. of Leland, NC., her Daughter Karen Jean McWhorter of Circleville, OH., and her

Son Larry Jay Cole of Dothan, Al. She is also survived by 6 Grandchildren, and 14 Great Grand

Children.

A memorial service will be held at Selma Baptist Church on Saturday Dec 4th at 2PM
