Jean T. McNally, 87, a resident of Dothan passed away Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Wesley Manor.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Robert Byrd directing.

Ms. McNally was born May 1, 1928 in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina to the late James Lee and Margaret Louise Thompson, and lived in various locations with her military father but most of her formative years were spent in Heflin, AL. She was employed with the Days Inn in Oxford, AL as a manager for over 20 years prior to her retirement. She has lived in Dothan for the past 5 years and was preceded in death by her daughter Jana Butts.

Survivors include her sons, Jeff (Sharon) McNally, Kevin (Amber) McNally, and Mac McNally; a daughter, Karen Grimmel; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; a brother, Bill (Pat) Thompson; sisters, Molly Steed and Lolly (Max) Payne; numerous nieces and nephews.
