Jeannette Mae Vincent

Jeannette Mae Vincent, a resident of Dothan, passed away on January 31, 2021. She was 87 years old.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, February 19, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug MacCormack officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Burial will take place at Gardens of Memory.

Jeannette was born on March 7, 1933 in Holyoke, Massachusetts. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to mingle and play bingo with others. Jeannette was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family deeply. She possessed a strong faith in her Lord and Savior. Jeannette will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Jeannette was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Elmore “Vince” Giles Vincent Jr.; her parents, Albert and Germaine Morin; and her siblings, Dorothy, Albert Morin, and Norman Morin.

Survivors include her two daughters, Susan Vincent Alphord and Karen Vincent Bush; her three grandchildren, Ryan Patrick Alphord, Joshua Trent Bush, and Nicholas Aaron Bush; her great-granddaughter Madalyn Isabelle Alphord; her sister, Bernadette (Bud) Schmalenburg; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
