Emma Jean “Jeannie” Bracewell of Samson passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016.  She was 49.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2016, in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Samson with Rev. Gene Hauser officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Jeannie was born in Jacksonville, FL on November 2, 1966, to the late Eulas Bracewell and Jessie Catrett Bracewell.  She was a very compassionate person who loved animals.  Jeannie always thought of others before herself, and she never met a stranger.  Jeannie was a hard worker who was not afraid to do any job.  For many years she was employed by Turkey Lake Park in Orlando, FL. She was a very loving mother and grandmother

She is survived by her daughter, Nichole Bracewell; grandson, Brandon Hornsby, both of Samson; siblings, Mickey, Cruze, Colleen, Mark, Lisa, Lucy, Anita; and numerous nieces and nephews.
