Jeffrey Estes Johnson was born November 18, 1967 at Ft. Wainwright, Bassett Army Hospital in Alaska. He died July 4, 2014 at Emory Hospital in Atlanta, GA. He began school at Ft. Rucker, AL, relocated to Dothan, AL in 1978. He graduated from Dothan High School, Wallace Community College and Auburn University.

Jeff attended First FWB Church from 1978 until 2000 then became a faithful member of Mt. Gilead and Pat Davenport’s Sunday School Class. He loved Mt. Gilead and his church family.

He was an associate of Todd & Son’s, and worked in pharmaceutical sales for the last twenty-one years.

Jeff was proceeded in death by his paternal grandparents, the late Mr. & Mrs. Jack C. Johnson and maternal grandfather, Rev. W. E. (Bill) George. He is survived by his daughters, Anna Grace and Emma Catherine Johnson; his parents, Tommie C. and Glenda George Johnson; his grandmother, Ms. Corene George; his sister, Jennifer (Jay) Horne and daughters, Catie and Callie Horne; his aunts, Mr. & Mrs. Wayne Andrews (Rhonda), Mr. & Mrs. Chuck Dockery (Penny), Ms. Frankie Henslee, Mr. & Mrs. Paul Cook (Jackie), Mr. & Mrs. Earl Taggert (Connie), Ms. Bobbie Mundie and Ms. Judy Metzger.

Jeff loved Auburn football, fishing, hunting, camping, creamed corn, all dogs, pretty music, sharp looking clothes, good smelling cologne and pretty girls…especially his two beautiful daughters, who were the bright spot in his life.

Jeff courageously fought the disease of depression, winning all of the battles except one, but ultimately winning the victory. He is now at peace in Jesus. We love you Jeffy Weffy! War Eagle!
