A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 3 pm at Cornerstone Church, 2685 John D. Odom Road, in Dothan, Alabama, with Dr. Steve Ball and Pastor Bobby Marks officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm until service time. He will be laid to rest in the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Donations may be made by check to the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), 977 Centerville Turnpike, Virginia Beach, VA 23463, noting In Memory of Jeff Greiner in the memo line.

Jeffrey "Jeff" Greiner, a man known for his infectious laughter and unwavering Christian faith, passed away peacefully in Cairo, Georgia, on June 3, 2024. Born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, on August 23, 1960, Jeff's zest for life and his love for his family and the Lord were the cornerstones of his 63 years.

Jeff was the beloved husband of Marlesa Ball Greiner, with whom he shared 33 years of marriage filled with love, adventure, and unwavering partnership. Together, they raised two sons, Asher and Tyse (Nikki). Jeff's mother, Susan Greiner, his brother, Mike Greiner (Judi), and his sister, Kelly Flores (Dave), will cherish his memory, along with many loving nieces and nephews. Jeff was joyously expecting his first granddaughter who will always be told stories of her grandfather’s legacy. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, George Greiner, who no doubt welcomed him with open arms.

A proud alumnus of Rutgers University, Jeff's passion for football shone brightly during his college years as a scholar athlete and football player. His love for the game extended into his work as the founder and director of celebrity basketball camps in Dothan, Alabama, Youngstown, Ohio, and Orlando, Florida. In 1997, Jeff was ordained as a minister, a calling that he embraced wholeheartedly. He served as an associate pastor at Calvary Assembly of God in Orlando, Florida, and Pleasant Valley Church in Youngstown, Ohio, and later he and Marlesa founded and pastored Church of the Nations in Dothan for six years.

In 2011, Jeff joined the team at Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) and The 700 Club, where he worked as a Field Representative under the leadership of Pat Robertson. His commitment to his faith and his community was evident in every aspect of his life.

Jeff's interests were as vibrant and diverse as his personality. A die-hard Penn State fan, he could often be found cheering on his favorite team, his spirit and enthusiasm contagious to all around him. His love for the Lord was profound, and he dedicated his life to sharing his faith with others, always hoping to lead them to salvation.

His love for seafood - particularly shrimp, crab legs and clams - was legendary, and he could often be found at his favorite seafood buffets, savoring the flavors of the ocean. Another of his great loves was ice cream, which was, in fact, his last meal.

One of Jeff's simple pleasures was the sound of a Coca-Cola being opened, a sound that, to him, was synonymous with relaxation and enjoyment. He was happiest when he was at the beach, soaking in the warmth and the beauty of the ocean.

Jeff's heart was that of an evangelist, always seeking to connect with others and share the joy of his faith in Jesus. He was funny, faith-filled, and loving, words that only begin to describe the profound impact he had on those who knew him.

His legacy is not only in the lives he touched through his ministry but also in the laughter, love, and faith he instilled in his family and friends. Jeff Greiner lived a life that was full, joyful, and centered on the things that mattered most. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Jeff's life will be celebrated in a service that honors his memory and the love he shared with so many. His family takes comfort in knowing that he is now at peace, his legacy a testament to a life well-lived and a heart well-loved. Jeff Greiner's journey on earth may have ended, but the echoes of his laughter and the footprint of his faith will live on forever.
