Jeffrey Bymount Whiters, 53, a resident of Dothan, peacefully departed this life on Monday, March 2, 2015. He was a devoted son, brother, and friend. Jeffrey was truly loved by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Jeffrey B. Whiters was born in Hollywood, Florida to the late Robert Espy Whiters and Earmesta Farmer Whiters. He enjoyed playing basketball, cooking, creative writing, studying the law, and listening to music.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving mother Earmesta Whiters; brother, Michael Whiters (Joann); sister Yvonne Beachem (Jack); nieces, Shanika Whiters (daughter Leah and son Aiden) and Chelsea Yvonne Beachem; nephews, Nicholas Whiters, Jack Beachem III (daughter Jasmine), Marcus D. Tankard (Latisha and son Micah) and Darius Jefferson (son Isaiah Jefferson Baggett); and a host of family and friends.
