Jerry Ann Braden of Enterprise, AL passed away Monday, October 14, 2024 at her home. She was 84.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, October 18, 2024 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Dr. Olivia Poole officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until service time.

Jerry was an avid fan of Elvis Presley and found great happiness in listening to his music. She possessed a warmth that endeared her to many, characterized by her willingness to lend a helping hand or share her resources with those in need. In her leisure time, Jerry enjoyed reading and trips to Biloxi and Vegas to beat the one-armed bandit.

She was preceded in death by her mother Eileen Clemmons, two sisters Jean Miller and Joan Porritt, and brother Orlando Bergquist.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Everett Braden; daughter, Cindy Yarbrough (Mark), Enterprise, AL; two sons, David Braden (Linda), Inverness, FL; Brian Braden (Jennifer), Enterprise, AL; eight grandchildren, Amanda Witten (Caleb), Bryan Kirschner (Maddison), Troy Yarbrough, Jennifer Braden, Corry Matthews, Ryan Braden, Jacob Braden, Elizabeth Braden; six great-grandchildren, Tyson, Tatym, Tesla, Braden, Eden and Baron.
