Jerry Richard Weaver

Jerry Richard Weaver, a resident of Dothan, AL passed away at a local hospital on Monday, April 19, 2021. He was 77.

Graveside services with Military Honors will be rendered at Sunset Memorial Park on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at 1:00 pm.

Jerry was born on July 26, 1943 in Canton, Ohio to the late Russell and Margaret Weaver. He served proudly in the United States Navy. Jerry came to the Dothan area in the 1970’s where he became a supervisor for Gates Corporation and would be employed there for over 30 years. He was a proud Papa to his grandchildren. In his pastime he enjoyed woodworking, his home was filled with many wonderful pieces he had created.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Margaret Weaver, his sisters, Margaret Witts, Carol Pribula, and Kathy Brown.

Survivors include his son, Todd (Candice) Weaver; his daughter, Deanna (Chris) Cangemi; his grandchildren, Loren Weaver, Meredith Heche, Anslee Weaver, Alexis Weaver, Matthew Cangemi, Zachary Cangemi and Katie Cangemi; and numerous nieces and nephews.
