JESSE  THOMAS  McCART

 

HEADLAND. . .Jesse Thomas McCart, a resident of Headland, died Wednesday afternoon, November 23, 2011, at his home. He was 68.

            Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Friday, November 25, 2011, in Gardens of Memory, between Headland and Dothan, with Pastor James A. Rich officiating. Holman-Headland Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements. The family will receive friends from 9:45 until 10:45 A. M. Friday at the mortuary.

            Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to one’s favorite charity.

            Mr. McCart was born in Coffee County, Alabama, son of the late Hubert McCart and Carrie Estelle Moulton McCart. He was reared in Phenix City and formerly lived in Florida and Brinson, Georgia before moving to Headland in 2008. Mr. McCart was retired from WestPoint Pepperell in Columbus, GA. He was preceded in death by all his sisters and brothers.

            Surviving relatives include his wife, Connie Pappas McCart, Headland; a daughter, Mistie Greer and husband, Levy, Midland City; two grandchildren, Travis Greer and wife, Jessica; and Kyle Greer; two great-grandchildren, Gabi Greer and Madi Greer.
