Jessica Marie Dekle Enfinger

Jessica Marie Dekle Enfinger, a resident of Cowarts, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021 at a local hospital. She was 30 years old.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 11am Saturday at Watermark Church in Ashford, with Pastor Todd Thorpe officiating. Burial will follow in Ashford City Cemetery with Sunset Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the church from 10am – 11am. Flowers are being accepted or memorials may be made in Jessica’s honor to Watermark Church, Ashford, Alabama.

Jessica was born September 5, 1991 in Houston County and lived in Ashford all of her life. She was very athletic; she played softball, cheered, and played volleyball at Ashford Academy. Jessica excelled in softball having played travel ball and was a member of Super 12 Softball for the Tri-State. She never met a stranger; she always had a willing spirit to help anyone who needed help. Jessica was currently enrolled with Arizona State where she was studying to become a psychologist. She was a member of Watermark Church in Ashford.

Survivors include her husband, Scotty Enfinger; her daughter, Kylie Wood; her parents, Jeff and Debra Dekle; her grandmother, Eilene Dekle; her grandfather, Thomas Johnson; her brother, Greg Dekle; and several aunts and uncles.,

Serving as active pallbearers will be David Abel, Danny Joe Kirkland, Stan Richards, Paul Enfinger, Chuck Wynkoop, and Craig Dempsey. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Hannah Granger and Tracy Lisenby.
