Jessie Frank Garrett, Sr. 55, formally of Headland, died Saturday June 20, 2015 in Huntington, Indiana.

Memorial services will be held 2 pm Tuesday July 7, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmie Monk officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1pm until 2pm Tuesday. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity or hospice of your choice.

Jessie was born August 26, 1960 in Marion, Indiana and he lived the early years of his life in the Headland Community. He was employed as a mechanic with Action Truck Center for several years. Jessie later moved to Marion Indiana and resided there for twenty-five years. He was employed with Wiggles Auto Repair and later was self-employed as an auto mechanic until his illness.

Survivors include his mother, Tonya McLean, Headland; his daughters, Marie Wilkerson, Dothan and Rebecca (Wayne) Sessions, Panama City; his son, Jessie Frank Garrett, Jr., Dothan; step-daughter, Libby Owens, Panama City; sister, Toni (James) Cunningham, Midland City; brother, Charles McGriff, Headland; 11 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; a great-grandson; several nieces and nephews.
