Jessie James Thompson of Enterprise, AL passed away Monday, January 17, 2022 at Bill Nichols Veterans Home in Alexander City, AL.  He was 75.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Jerry Mixon officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from12 Noon until service time. 

Mr. Thompson retired after serving in the military for 35 years. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ingrid Thompson.

Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer Thompson, Enterprise, AL; son, Michael Heer (Kelli), Dothan, AL; granddaughter, Aubrey Heer, Dothan, AL; grandson, Mathis Heer, Dothan, AL; several brothers and sisters; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
