JIMMIE LOU CASEY
HEADLAND. . .Jimmie Lou Cook Casey, a resident of Headland, died Saturday morning, March 17, 2012, in the Wesley Manor Retirement Center in Dothan. She was 88.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Sunday, March 18, 2012, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Norman C. Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 P.M. Sunday at the mortuary.
Mrs. Casey was born and reared in Ozark, daughter of the late James Robertson Cook and Fannie English Cook. She moved to Headland in 1951 where she was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. Mrs. Casey was preceded in death by her husband, R. B. Casey and three brothers, Floyd Cook, Ray Don Cook and John Neal Cook.
Surviving relatives include a daughter, Janice Casey McEntyre and husband, Carl, Headland; a son, Billy Casey and wife, Sara, Headland; a sister, Ruby Willis, Ozark; four grandchildren, Luke McEntyre and wife, Jenny, Carla Fernstrom and husband, Jonathan, Kate Morgan and Mark McEntyre; three step-grandchildren, Brianna Pilley, Brennan Pilley and Makayla Marlow; three great-grandchildren, Caroline Morgan, Savannah McEntyre and Ashley Morgan.
