Jimmie Stinson of Chancellor, AL passed away Friday, August 23, 2024 at Medical Center Enterprise.  She was 84 years old.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, August 26, 2024 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Alec Keating and Rev. Joel Snell officiating and Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until service time. 

Jimmie was an avid dog lover, and she loved taking care of her animals. She had air-conditioned houses for her pugs and many stray cats. Growing up she played softball whenever she had the chance and fell in love with sports of all kinds. Her love for watching the tide roll was not just on the football field she could be found at her beach house when Alabama wasn’t playing football. Jimmie also liked to bowl, she even spent time playing on competitive bowling teams.

Proceeded in death by her mother Mary Edna Banks Stinson and father Jim Tom Stinson, niece Gwen Cooper, brothers in law JD Thames and James Johnson.

Survivors include her three sisters, Elizabeth Thames of Chancellor, AL, Evelyn Johnson of Chancellor, AL, Mary Ann Anderson (Durl) of Chancellor, AL, nieces and nephews, Tony Cooper of Chancellor, AL, Beth Anderson Trawick (Trent) Of Chancellor, AL, Ashlee Rester Garner (Clay) of Enterprise, AL, Chris Cooper (Jordan) Knoxville, TN, Parker Trawick (Peyton) of Chancellor, AL, Taylor Keating (Alec) Lumberton, TX, Ella Grace Garner of Enterprise, AL, Shep Keating and Rowan Cooper.
