Mr. Jimmy Cecil Bryant, a resident of Clayton, Alabama passed away Saturday, October 19, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was 71 years old.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Louisville Baptist Church in Louisville, Alabama, with Rev. Mike Whitman officiating and Glover Funeral Home directing. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. A private family burial will follow the service. Flowers will be accepted.

Jimmy was born December 1, 1952, in Opp, Alabama, to the late Clarence Cecil Bryant and Eddie Ruth Driver Bryant. He was a veteran of the United States Army and owned Jimmy’s Paint and Body in Freeport, Florida, and later owned Quality Paint and Body in Level Plains, Alabama. Jimmy enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, Nascar, and was an avid Auburn Fan. He was a member of Louisville Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Renee Hancock Bryant; second wife, Felicia Renee Bates Bryant; brother, Gary Clarence Bryant; mother-in-law, Margaret Gibson Murphy.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 22 years, Wanda Diane Murphy Bryant; two sons, Samuel David Bryant (Natalie) of Freeport, Florida, and Zachary Caine Bryant of Freeport, Florida; two daughters, Kelley Renee Redding (Clay) of Enterprise, Alabama, and Ashlyn Marie Simmons (Jeremy) of Clayton, Alabama; two step-daughters, Carmen Ziglar Currie (Jason) of Victoria, Alabama, and Kayla Ziglar Davis (Lucas) of Samson, Alabama; seven grandchildren, Daxton Caine Bryant, Beau David Bryant, John Foster Hamm, Lane Michael Davis, Taylor Brooks Jones (Jacob), Hannah Renee Bryant, and Alee Brooke Davis; father-in-law, Robert Murphy (Judy); two nephews, Dusty Bryant and Zack Bryant; niece, Kayla Bryant Bell (Zach).

Asked to serve as pallbearers are Tommy Beaty, Jimmy Beaty, Lee Benton, Derek Sasser, Stevie Caraway, Trip Horne, and Lance Williamson.
