 Jimmy Edward Baxley of Stephenson Road, Coffee Springs, Alabama, passed away Friday, December 28, 2012.  He was 52.


 


Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 31, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Jack Summerlin and Rev. Greg Summerlin officiating.  Burial will follow in the Eden Baptist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, December 30, from 3 until 5 p.m.


 


Jimmy, affectionately known as “Sam” or “Jim Bo”, was born June 22, 1960, in Geneva County, Alabama.  He had a very outgoing personality.


 


His brother, Benjie Baxley preceded him in death.


 


Survivors include three daughters: Cindy Webster (Leon), Angel Bryant (Gerald) and Amy Baxley; two sons: Jimmy Wayne Baxley and Edward Lee Baxley (Dorothy), all of Geneva; his parents, Julian Edward and Ludine Cardwell Baxley, Coffee Springs; seven grandchildren: Casey, Deanna and Brandon Baxley, Daniel Bryant, Brandy, Justin and Austin Webster, all of Geneva; aunts and uncles: Ben and Margaret Baxley, Atmore, AL, Audrey Ruth Bryan, Paxton, FL and James Cardwell, Florala; special friend, Sara Evon Long; a number of special cousins and other extended family and friends
