Jimmy Frank Ducker, a resident of Midland City, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, June 16, 2021. He was 69 years old.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, June 21, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial with military honors will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm.
Jimmy was born on August 29, 1951 in Malone, FL to the late William Frank and Mary Velma Ducker. Jimmy was the head of his household and loved taken care of his family. He enjoyed growing vegetables in his garden for his family to relish at meals. In his pastime, Jimmy would be found watching old western movies and shows. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents; his grandson, Caleb Devine; his brothers, Eugene Ducker, James Ducker, Howard Ducker, Bill Ducker, David Ducker, Kenneth Wayne Ducker, and an infant brother.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Virginia Ducker; his two sons, Jimmy JaCoby Ducker and William Joseph Ducker; his three daughters, Heather Porter (Larry Hawkins), Kellie Devine (Jason Underwood), and Gwendolyn Blankenship; his ten grandchildren, Mandi Porter, Zack Devine, Braxton Strickland, Christopher Porter, Brooke Strickland, Austin “Lil Tex” Porter, Ethan Ducker, Jordan Ducker, Jaxson Ducker, Kynleigh “Bugg” Ducker; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
