WEBB, ALABAMA. . .Jimmy Leon Hutto, a resident of Webb, died at midnight, August 20, 2023, in a Dothan hospital. He was 80.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 22, 2023, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Sidney Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Crestlawn Memorial Cemetery in Avon. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the mortuary in Headland.
Mr. Hutto was born and reared in the Tumbleton Community of Henry County, son of the late Bryant Hutto and Sallie Mae Clemmons Hutto. He lived in the Headland and Webb area all his lifetime. Mr. Hutto was formerly employed by the Donald Smith Company as a well driller and had also been engaged in farming. He was preceded in death by a son, Stanley Harold Hutto and a sister, Lucy Hutto.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Sybil Phillips Hutto; four daughters, Sally Hutto, Daleville; Tammie Crawford (Brian), Ashford; Teresa Hand, Webb; and Cynthia Farmer (Ryan), Taylor, AL; a son, Ricky Hutto (Ginger), Troy, AL; a brother, Bruce Hutto (Geraldine), Kinsey; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his special canine friend, “Cotton”.
