Jimmy Ned Casey, 77, a resident of Dothan, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at his residence.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday August 13, at Glover Funeral Home. 

Jimmy was born on May 4, 1947, in Bay County, Florida to Clyde and Doris (Drew) Casey. Following graduating from Wicksburg High School, Jimmy served in the United States National Guard, and was a Sheet Metal Mechanic in Warner Robbins Georgia for 8 years. After his service, he worked as a Peanut Inspector for the State of Alabama for 15 years. Jimmy was of Baptist faith.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Debra Casey of Dothan; one step-daughter, Miracle Whitten of Dothan; one step-son, Robert Williams of Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, Robbie Luke Williams, Lauren Williams, and Katelyn Scott; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bill Casey of Prattville, and Bobby Casey of Dothan.

Flowers will be accepted.
