Joan Elizabeth Wilkerson age 84, a resident of Elba, Alabama passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at her home. Private graveside services were held at Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wilkerson is survived by her husband of 67 years, Benny Wilkerson, Elba, AL, Son - Michael (Patricia) Wilkerson, Brantley, AL, Son - Benny (Kristi) Wilkerson, Deatsville, AL, Daughter - Melissa (Ted) Fillingim, Jack, AL, Daughter - Pam Boggess, Elba, AL, along Brother - Wayne Blackmon, Newnan, GA, and a Sister - Barbara Jones, of Andalusia, Alabama, She also leaves behind to cherish her memory 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jewel Clyde Blackmon, and Charlie Wilson Blackmon.
Hayes Funeral Home of Elba, Alabama is serving the Wilkerson family.
