Danny Joe "Jody" Folds, 44, a resident of Midland City, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2016 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ricky Martin and Rev. Royce Morrow officiating. Burial will follow in Midland City Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Jody was born April 17, 1972 in Dale County, AL and lived here his entire life. He was employed with Walding Trucking Company and Mail Contractors of America for several years. He was an outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family especially his grandchildren. He attended Sanctuary of Praise Church.

Survivors include his sons, Matt (Mindy) Folds and D.J. (Tanya Chandler) Folds; his grandchildren, Adalynn Folds, Alayna Folds, Hayden Folds, and Asher Folds; his parents, Danny and Shirley Folds; his brother, Lonnie Earl (Chris) Folds; nieces and nephews, Angel Folds, Lonnie Folds, Michael Norwalk, Teddy Folds, Roxy Folds, and Jon Jon Norwalk; several great nieces and great nephews.
