Joe Warren, age 79, of Enterprise, AL, passed away Tuesday, November 07, 2017 at his home.


Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M, Thursday, November 9th at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Rick Hayes officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Thursday at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 P.M.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, % Linda Andress, 400 Gibson Street, Enterprise, AL 36330.


Joe was born and raised in Enterprise, Alabama.  He worked 39 years with the Enterprise Water Department, many of those years as a field supervisor, until he retired.  He was a retiree of the National Guard.  He coached little league baseball as well as little league and high school softball.  He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.  He gave unsparingly.  Loved immensely.  He made an impact on every life he encountered.  He will be incredibly missed.


Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ann Warren, Enterprise, AL; two daughters, Karen Hayes (Dean) Chancellor, AL; Kathy Richburg (Keith) Enterprise, AL; 2 granddaughters, Ashley White (Brandon) New Brockton, AL; Hanna Hayes (Austin) Chancellor, AL; 1 great-grandson, Hunter White, New Brockton, AL; 3 sisters, Eloise Carroll (AJ) Enterprise, AL; Lou Thompson (John) Enterprise, AL; Edna Jones, North Carolina; 1 brother, Harold Warren (Bettiann) Panama City, FL; several nieces and nephews.
