It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John D'Alesio on October 18, 2024, at the age of 89, just weeks shy of his 90th birthday. John passed away peacefully of natural causes after a life marked by love, dedication, and many achievements. As a renowned jewelry executive, he played a key role in growing several companies into major corporations, leaving behind a lasting legacy of leadership and hard work in the industry.
John was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 68 years, Marie D'Alesio, who passed away on March 16, 2023, at the age of 86, also of natural causes. Together, they built a lifetime of cherished memories, raising four children while instilling in them the values of family, faith, and perseverance. Their strength was tested by the heartbreaking loss of a child and grandchild. Their son, John, passed away in 2014 at the age of 57 from ALS, and their grandson, John Gregory Harding, passed away in 2001 at the age of 17 from a heart condition.
John and Marie are survived by their daughter, Donna Harding, and her husband, Greg; their sons, Ed and Ray, and their wives, Margaret and Martha; and their daughter-in-law, Adria. They also leave behind 24 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with Marie's five devoted brothers, Larry, Frank, Andy, Joe, and Gene, and loving sisters-in-law, Cathy, Kathy, Barbara, Bobbie, and Eva. Their extended family includes many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends, all of whom will miss them dearly.
