ABBEVILLE. . .John Harvey Clenney, a resident of Abbeville, died Thursday night, December 1, 2016, in the Medical Center Barbour in Eufaula. He was 73.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at a later date. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
John Harvey Clenney was a native of the Richards Crossroads community in Barbour County. He lived in Abbeville before moving to Thomas Mill Creek on Lake Eufaula in 1982. Mr. Clenney was retired as the owner and operator of Clenney’s Small Engine & Marine. He was preceded in death by his father, John Thomas Clenney, his mother, Mildred Richards Braddy, and his step-father, Ira Braddy.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Connie G. Clenney; a daughter, Kim Clenney, and a son, Mitchell Clenney (Eva), all of Montgomery; a step-daughter, Angelia Hughes, Eufaula; three grandchildren, Alexandria Clenney, Gabriel and Haely McBeal
