John Kevin Leddon was born June 6, 1964 in Anaheim, California to James Hilton and Geraldine “Jerri” Williams Leddon.  He passed away on Wednesday, December 21st in Monroe, Louisiana.  He was 58 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2022 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva, AL. Burial will follow at Leddon cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday beginning at 1:00 p.m.

John loved God and his family more than words could ever do justice to and would go to the greatest lengths to show that love.  He was always incredibly proud of their achievements and quick to congratulate them on any accomplishment.  His wife was his greatest love, and their story was full of treasured chapters.  He was a faithful attendant and willingly served at West Monroe Assembly Church, singing in the choir and playing his guitar.  John was a self-taught musician, playing the guitar, keyboard, banjo and drums.  He was also an accomplished singer, whether it was in the church or singing his favorite 80’s oldies.

Many who knew him would describe him as friendly and the kind of person who would truly do anything for anyone.  He was always lending a helping hand or volunteering whether it be for his church or community.  When John wasn’t lending a helping hand you could find him tinkering on house projects, restoring vehicles, watching sports highlights and pranking his wife.  He loved the beach, quiet mornings, country living and playing with his grandson, Noah.  He always looked forward to his annual family vacation where his wife’s family, brother and sisters plus their families would gather for a week at the beach and make new memories.

John was a 1982 graduate of Geneva High School and proudly served 20+ years in the United States Air Force and Reserve.  One of his favorite holidays was Independence Day where he would volunteer at the Veterans Home.  He would also deliver Christmas Presents and loved visiting with the veterans.

The end of his chapters here leave an enormous hole to fill, but we are grateful for the hope we hold onto of being reunited one day in Heaven.  He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

Mr. Leddon was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Robert and Aulsie Williams of Bellville, Illinois, paternal grandparents William Floyd and Polly Leddon of Geneva, Alabama and his parents, James Hilton Leddon and Geraldine “Jerri” Leddon of Geneva, Alabama.

He is survived by his wife, Faith Michelle Leddon, children, John Edward (JE) Leddon of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Ashlea Joy Muller of Monroe, LA, Anastasia Michele Carroll (Antonio) of Greenville, SC., grandson Noah Maddox Carroll, sisters Deborah Watson (Glenn) of Green Cove Springs, FL, Terri Hutto (Mike) of Chancellor, AL, brother James Leddon (Stacey) of Southmont, NC,  nephews William Jerome (Marinda) Watson, Charlie Davidson (Amanda), James Zachary (Zack) Leddon, John Braxton (JB) Leddon, nieces Christy Stockton (Arch), Hannah Moses, great nieces Leisa (Trevor) McKinney, Natalie, Ashley, Emily Stockton, Sadie Davidson, great nephews J.
