John Velazquez

John Velazquez, 65, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 am on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Harmony Baptist Mission Church located at 1049 Sanders Ave in Graceville, Florida with Rev. Raymond O’Quinn officiating.

John was born on March 28, 1955 in New York to his father, John Velazquez. When he was five, he and his family moved to Puerto Rico where he graduated high school and joined the Marines. John was devoted to his family and became the protector for his household. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Left to cherish John’s memories is his loving and dedicated wife of 37 years, Nancy Velazquez, children RosaLeona Anastasia Velazquez Byrd (Benjamin), Steven Watford Jr., Patricia Davis and Terri (Cory) Waldron, six grandchildren Tiernan Byrd, Tyler Watford, Anthony Waldron, Arabella Waldron, Miaya Watford and Remi Watford. He also leaves behind four great-grandchildren, Rowdy, Weston, Karson and Everly Watford as well as many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
