Johnnie Louise Knight, 87, a resident of Midland City passed away Saturday, April 19, 2014 at her daughter's residence in Dothan.

Funeral services will be 2 pm Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Coley M. Holloway officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Knight was born in Enterprise, AL and lived the early part of her life there. Most of her life was spent in the Dothan area. She was a homemaker and a member of Bay Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Alonzo Knight, her sons, Jackie Carter, Jerry Andrews, Terry Andrews, and Namon Andrews, a nephew Billy John Glover, and a niece Fay Vann.

Survivors include her daughters, Diane Burmann and Teresa (Chris) Jones; grandchildren, Al Burmann, Geoffrey Burmann, Brittney Jones, Andrew Jones, Aaron Jones, Teisha (Jamey) Avery, Chris (Shanda) Jerkins, Theresa (J.D.) Newton, Jessica (Tim) Kennedy, Amanda Andrews, and Chasity Andrews; great-grandchildren, Corey, Crimson, Alex, Kaden, Kinsley, Hayley, Ava, and Jayce; loving daughters-in-law, Connie Andrews and Mary Huey; a life-long friend Gail Nolan; nieces and nephews, Sara Dixon, Barbara (Don) Brown, Sue (John) McCardle, Linda Glover, Bobby (Donna) Glover, and Bobby (Shirley) Lamb.

Serving as pallbearers will be Andrew Jones, Aaron Jones, Geoffrey Burmann, Al Burmann, Chris Jerkins, and Jamey Avery.
